In March 2003, Viggo Mortensen explored the town of Wounded Knee Creek, South Dakota, the site of a tragic massacre that occurred December 29, 1890. There he photographed a traditional Lakota Ghost Dance, and the resulting images re-create the dance that was originally performed by members of Chief Big Foot's band. Treating this sacred rite as both delirious remembrance and ephemeral dream, Miyelo includes literary and historical documentation that examines the Ghost Dance's origins.

Big foot mama - Big Foot Mama is one of the most successful rock bands from Slovenia in recent years. They started their career in 1990 and after their third album, Tretja dimenzija (third dimension), they were considered the rock band of the decade, breaking sales records in rock category and selling out some of the biggest venues in the capital Ljubljana like Krizanke and Hala Tivoli, which were previously considered as unconquerable for slovenian rock bands.

Big Bird - Since Sesame Street began, the world's most famous 8 foot 2 inch big yellow bird, Big Bird, has entertained millions of pre-school children and their parents with his wide-eyed wondering at the world.

The Big Bus - The Big Bus is a 1976 James Frawley comedy starring Stockard Channing as Kitty Baxter and Joe Bologna as controversial driver ("Eat one lousy foot and they call you a cannibal") Dan Torrance. A spoof of most disaster movies up until that time, it follows the maiden cross-country trip of a nuclear powered bus named Cyclops that's equipped with a bowling alley, swimming pool and piano bar.

The first Boeing proposal, the Model 424, was a major postwar innovation in combat jet design, and it helped lead to the development of modern jet airliners. During his visit to Germany, Schairer examined data obtained by German aircraft manufacturers working on the advantages of swept wings, and became so convinced of the California Institute of Technology, to form up a committee of American scientists to go to Europe and examine captured German technology.
